The slippery conditions at Demon Tweeks caused several competitors to hit curbs and an early retirement was Stephen Kettle, winner of the 2009 BTRDA Autosolo Final. Sam Self was best BTRDA Newcomer, beating last year's runner-up John Fox by 0.6 seconds, both in Saxos. The very close competition saw the overall event by Stuart Perren in a Caterham from Mike Sones in another Saxo.
