BTRDA Sporting Trials were represented at the Chatsworth Rally Show last weekend over the two days.
The BTRDA Sporting trials team off Dave Rance, Julian Fack, Ian Rodman, Richard Waterhouse and Duncan Stephens gave nearly a hundred passenger rides to children over the two days and forty driving lessons. Motorsports Future's Laura Wilks, Josh Veale and Jess Fack all provided passenger rides too.
Torrential rain made conditions very challenging, with one parent commenting it was the best £5 he had ever spent entertaining his son. Saturday morning sore tyre pressures being dropped and drivers having to drive the limited sections as if they were a championship standard hill.
Duncan Stephens commented it was great to see so many children been excited by trials cars despite the conditions which will hopefully get them following the sport in the autumn. Hopefully they went and told their mates at school!
Last year we just provided driving lessons but this year the passenger rides proved a great success.
