Loughborough
Date: 19th February 2012
Ian Bell made it two wins on the trot by winning the Loughborough sporting trial on the outskirts of Nottingham despite stalling at an eight, in early frozen conditions that thawed making the ground very slippery for half an hour. George Watson drove brilliantly to his best ever result just five points behind Bell and top live axle to win the intermediate class ahead of Andy Wilks and Steve Courts who missed out a nine gate during the afternoon. Andrew Bell finished fifth in his new Hamilton's English debut. Stuart Perren had a superb day to win the novice class and also had his best result so far completing the top ten overall.
